Project Brexit

What does Brexit mean?

What is Brexit? With the UK referendum to leave the European Union in the history books, attention has now turned to negotiating ‘Brexit’. It’s a complex process, with the UK, the European institutions (chiefly the Commission and Council, but also the Parliament), and other Member States engaging in detailed discussion and negotiation – the purpose of which is to determine what the relationship between the UK and the rest of the EU will look like for years to come.
