Whitehouse signs exclusive insight partnership with Solar Media

By Chris Rogers March 29, 2016 11:17 am

Policy and public affairs specialist The Whitehouse Consultancy has announced an exclusive partnership with Solar Media, becoming the dedicated Policy Insights Partner for the multinational publishing, news and events business.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Whitehouse team will support Solar Media through the development of high-profile discussion events at leading industry conferences, while also producing policy briefings and contributing regular content to Solar Media’s online news portals and print publications. The agreement is intended to better communicate government policy to industry leaders following a turbulent 12 months for the clean energy sector.

The partnership agreement will include the delivery of policy insight for Solar Media’s Clean Energy Summit in April (formerly Large Scale Solar UK), the Rooftops UK series in July and September, and the Clean Energy Live event in October.

Solar Media operates in the UK, US, China and Greece. Its portfolio includes Clean Energy News and Solar Power Portal.

Helen Munro, Managing Director of The Whitehouse Consultancy, said:

“Solar Media is one of the foremost providers of information and events for the clean energy sector. We’re delighted to be working with them and look forward to adding value to their upcoming events programme.

“The solar industry has grown exponentially in recent years and promises an exciting future as we transition towards a low-subsidy environment. Under this new partnership, we will provide real insight into current and future policy opportunities and challenges in the UK and the EU and how they affect business ambitions and investments. After what has been a challenging 12 months for the sector, we will continue to support industry to understand and positively engage with the policy environment.”

Tim Mann, Managing Director of Solar Media, said:

“We’re delighted to be working with the Whitehouse team. They bring an enormous amount of policy knowledge at a time when we’re likely to see numerous major announcements for the clean energy sector. We enjoyed working with Whitehouse during Solar Energy UK last year and look forward to continuing to share their insights with our readers and delegates.”
