Urgent action needed to avoid losing teachers

Whitehouse Consultancy Chairman Chris Whitehouse has warned in a new column for The Universe that urgent action is needed to improve teachers’ pay and conditions to avoid losing them from the profession.

The article follows a ComRes poll, commissioned by the Whitehouse Consultancy, which found that 59 per cent of Britons believe urgent action is needed – with 54 per cent agreeing that teachers’ pay should be increased to attract high calibre professionals.
