Overseas student numbers fall

Figures by the Higher Education Funding Council show that the number of overseas students undertaking higher education courses in England has fallen for the first time in nearly three decades. The analysis found the most significant decrease was among those from India and Pakistan, heightening fears that increased immigration restrictions are hitting applications.
