6 new Crown Representatives appointed to help Government ascertain value for money

The Cabinet Office has announced the appointment of six new Crown Representatives, to join the existing 15 representatives who look at large contracts held by Government to ensure that it is getting value for money. Bill Crothers, Chief Procurement Officer in the Cabinet Office, stated that “our Crown Representatives are bringing in top business acumen into Whitehall – our procurement reforms saved £3.8 billion last year and we want to go even further”.
