Vaccinations are ‘civic duty’

Health experts have called for the public to be given vaccination record cards and advised it is their civic duty to get immunised. the UK International Longevity Centre have warned that increasing migration, an ageing population and the growth of antibiotic resistance is increasing the threat posed by infectious diseases. The centre has called for increased adult vaccination against diseases including seasonal influenza, pneumococcal diseases, whopping cough, shingles, diphtheria and tetanus and also recommend all eligible adults are given flu vaccine vouchers to use at pharmacies.
