I struggle to see what practical purpose yesterday’s Select Committee session with the big six energy companies served beyond giving the plucky Stephen Fitzpatrick, MD of Ovo Energy, an almost unique PR opportunity to attract customers to his Bristol-based energy firm. Well done him for taking it but expect Mr Fitzpatrick to be one of the few beneficiaries of this Parliamentary charade.
