Stephen Roberts

Stephen works working primarily across the energy and environment sectors, supporting clients’ communications strategies and providing continual and high-level political and industry insight and intelligence. He has a particular interest in data driven solutions able provide greater flexibility to the grid and demand side response technologies as well as low carbon generation and low carbon transport systems.

Prior to Whitehouse, Stephen worked on the energy and industrials team of a large communications agency, supporting both public affairs and public relations campaigns, he also provided in depth monitoring services for large multinational oil and gas companies.

Stephen is a graduate of the University of Bristol where he studied politics and international relations, with a particular focus on the UK’s energy needs, environmental security as well as the development of UK nuclear policy over the last 25 years, including a cost-benefit analysis of the incoming new nuclear fleet. Following this he also studied at Tianjin Foreign Studies University in China as part of a British Council scholarship, where he studied Mandarin and Chinese culture. He is a keen swimmer and active in amateur dramatics.
