Simon is responsible for providing guidance and advice to support clients in understanding food regulations and nutrition policies both in the UK and at EU level.
Simon has an in-depth knowledge of EU food law and policy issues, having worked as a Regulatory Advisor for the food and drinks industry in London and gained experience in the Legal and Regulatory Affairs Unit of the European Food Safety Authority in Parma. Prior to that, he worked on EU competition law and regulatory issues for the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition in Brussels and the French Ministry of Economy in Paris.
An alumnus of the College of Europe in Bruges, Simon holds an LLM in European Union law from Sciences Po Strasbourg and a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. A fluent French and English speaker with a fair understanding of Italian and Spanish, Simon is passionate about football and photography and he also enjoys travelling.
