Paul leads client teams for accounts across the education, health and third sectors, delivering comprehensive, effective and innovative campaigns. He provides senior counsel to clients’ senior teams and is responsible for the development and implementation of their communications strategies and messaging to meet their policy objectives and raise their profile and reputation.
He sits on the agency’s Senior Leadership Team and has extensive experience across national, regional and local government. Prior to joining the Whitehouse team, he served as Chief of Staff to a Government Minister, and as an adviser to a former Secretary of State. He has also previously worked as Head of Consultancy & Parliamentary Relations for a leading political communications business, and as an elected councillor for an iconic part of London, holding executive roles in the education, equalities and health portfolios.
Paul read government at the London School of Economics and Political Science and has undertaken roles across the voluntary sector as trustee of an education charity, board member of a registered social housing provider and a governor at a secondary academy, two primary schools and as Vice Chair of Governors at a flagship early years centre. He is currently an elected Board Member of the Public Affairs Board, which is responsible for setting and enforcing standards across the public affairs industry.
Paul is also Co-Chairman of the Public Relations and Communications Association’s Education Group and Director of External Affairs for the Conservative Party’s Education Society. He sits on the NHS Supply Chain’s Medical Supplier Board, The UK MedTech Forum and The Drug Tariff Forum.
