Laura McCarthy
Associate Political Consultant

Laura is an Associate Consultant, supporting clients’ external communications and providing them with political intelligence and insights, working across a range of sectors including health, education and defence.

Laura joined the Whitehouse team having previously worked for a parliamentary service providing intelligence to a range of clients on political developments in Westminster, the devolved assemblies, and the European Union, with a particular focus on Brexit. She has also worked in the Houses of Parliament where she wrote the records for a range of Select Committees.

Laura graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Philosophy and Political Science where she also founded a society that promotes the awareness of social development both domestically in Ireland and around the world. Outside of work, she spends her time dancing, exploring London’s food scene and rambling around parks, woods and coastlines.
