Chris leads on all our public relations activity, and is responsible for developing and implementing the strategies that make sure our clients convey their opinions, enhance their campaigns, secure public support or promote their brands through the media, drawing on our PR team and his own extensive contacts and experience.
In addition to securing coverage in the national, local and specialist media, Chris regularly advises our clients’ chief executives and board level executives on their media engagement, reputation management and crisis communications; also running national media campaigns, and providing clients with media training based on his own experience as a commentator for national news outlets. Chris joined the Whitehouse team having worked for a leading City PR agency, and also advises our clients on event management having worked on numerous large-scale events and party conferences. He is a member of the Public Relations and Communications Council, co-chairs an industry group on reputation management; and sits on the management committee for the Association of Professional Political Consultants. Chris has also appeared on Good Morning Britain, CNBC Europe, Talk Radio and LBC Radio to provide political analysis.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Exeter and has a BA (Hons) and MA in History.
